Application for Certification as Bird City
The Bird City Kerrville Committee and its Partners are preparing an application for certification as a Bird City!
Work Process
Individuals from the community have formed a committee to shepherd Kerrville’s application through the process.
The KerrBird Committee has brought in partners throughout the Kerrville community to identify and build on activities currently in place to support birds and birders.

The KerrBird Committee will gather documentation and prepare application materials to show Kerrville’s compliance with certification requirements.
Success
Certified communities have been able to leverage their certification to attract more than 2.2 million bird watchers in Texas in 2022.
